Optimist yacht model

Today we were making paper optimist yachts .This is my one. We had to have cutting and folding skills to complete our yachts .We are making these because we are going optimist yachting this week.

Team Emirates New Zealand-Lego version.

Over the weekend I was working on making Team Emirates New Zealand.  I made it out of Lego & I used Lego Man leg's for the foil's .I found that it was hard to make the sails out of Lego so I'm going to make them out of a plastic.

My Family Tree

For maths we had to draw our family tree. The reason we drew our family trees is because in math we are learning about algebra and patterns, this piece of work was mostly related to pattern.

The pattern I found was that your parents are half the of your grandparents so it goes 2 4 8 16 32 and so on that was the pattern I found.

Sailing

We are learning about optimist yachts. We were reading an article about optimist yachting and had to label the different parts.This is my diagram.I learnt that optimist yachts use the figure of eight knot and that optimist yachting is simple to pick up and to use life jackets when on the water .
